На 9 юни 2016 г., от 13:15 ч. в зала 300 на ИЯИЯЕ Tekin Dereli (Professor of Physics, Koc University, Istanbul) ще изнесе доклад на тема:
"3-Dimensional Field Theories of Massive Gravity".
- Gravity in (2+1)-dimensions has long received attention as a theoretical tool that highlights the topological aspects of gravitation. There is a recent renewal of interest with papers on the New Massive Gravity (2009) and Minimal Massive (3D) Gravity (2014). I will briefly review these models and give a generic non-Riemannian extension that involves quadratic curvature invariants in the action, in the language of exterior differential forms. (2+1)-dimensional space-times with constant curvature and constant torsion will be given as background solutions.
